Method
- Step 1:Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper and place wire racks on top.

- Step 2:In a small bowl, combine honey powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ancho chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form the dry rub.

- Step 3:Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels. Removing excess moisture helps the wings become crispier while baking.

- Step 4:Place the wings in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

- Step 5:Sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss well using tongs to coat evenly.

- Step 6:Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared wire racks, leaving a little space between each piece for proper airflow.

- Step 7:Bake for about 40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they become golden brown and crispy.

- Step 8:Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Step 9:Serve the wings warm with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.

Notes
- Patting the wings dry is the key to achieving a crispy texture.
- Use honey powder instead of liquid honey to keep the rub dry and flavorful.
- Adjust cayenne pepper based on your preferred spice level.
- For an air fryer, cook at 380°F for 20–22 minutes and flip halfway through.
- Serve immediately while the wings are hot and crispy for the best taste.
